From 2010, my saffron have the P.O.D. brand "Zafferano di Sardegna" (as you can see at this link). It is a further assurance about its origin (Sardinia) and its highest quality.
The "Zafferano di Sardegna" D.O.P., born in 2009 after long passages began in 2006, must respond to specific and strict rules of production, witch guarantee that I produce saffron through organic methods, so I don't use herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
The P.D.O. (protected designation of origin) brand is the most important U.E. brand that certifies the quality and origin of a food.
